Those words I sang to you.


They meant nothing at all
But by you and with you
It all made sense.


Sometimes I close my eyes
And see your wide open smile...


Another soft betrayal.
I'm sorry... I cannot stop it
I cannot keep you out.


Holding me as I lay fetal
When all others failed to see me...


I choose to cradle in my thoughts once more
Holding on to all things past


Nothing I can do.
